Clifford L. Simmang

Dr. Simmang is the CMO at Baylor Scott & White Grapevine and is recognized as a leader in the field of colorectal surgery. He is past President of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and has served on the Executive Council of the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons. With nearly 100 publications, he’s considered a leading teacher by ASCRS. He is an expert in laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, sphincter-sparing surgery for rectal cancer, colonoscopy, hereditary colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, and treatment of hemorrhoids. Honors include Texas Super Doctors©, Best Doctors in America©, Consumers’ Research Council Top Surgeons in America, and being listed in Good Housekeeping’s 318 Top Cancer Specialists.
